Tideline Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Tideline Command asks you to plan, not panic. You command small fleets across island maps where weather and tides change what routes are open, so a plan that worked last turn might sink you the next. It's thoughtful and a bit slow in the best way.
The clever bit is the supply system. Ships can't just steam around forever — you manage fuel and repair ports, which turns every expansion into a real decision. I lost my first three games badly before it clicked, and then I couldn't stop. The UI packs a lot onto a phone screen but stays readable.
There's no real-time pressure here, so it suits reflective players. If you like staring at a map and plotting two moves ahead, this is a gem.
What we liked
- Tides and weather that reshape the map
- Supply lines that make expansion meaningful
- Readable UI despite the depth
