Cozy Sims and the Art of Not Draining Your Battery

Moonlit Smallholding taught me to appreciate games that don't cook my phone. Cozy sims tend to run light, which means you can play them all day without hunting for a charger.

Beyond the practical side, the slow rhythm matches how a lot of us actually use phones — short bursts, several times a day. Checking on your crops feels more like a habit than a session.

My tip for newcomers: don't try to optimize everything at once. The charm of these games lives in letting the seasons roll past and reacting to small surprises, not in min-maxing your layout.

It's a different kind of satisfaction than a fast action game, quieter and more durable. Some evenings that's exactly what I want.
